Yet another year down...

That is what has been keeping me busy over this last semester... Hey, this was my best semester since my first semester.


I now have a Nikon D40 with a kit lens and a 55-200mm macro lens. I'm probably going to take a few classes on how to use it more properly, considering the only stuff I know about DSLRs is what I learned from a high school 35mm SLR using photography class (mind you, it was about three years ago).

I also indulged myself with the purchase of a pair of Sennheiser hd555's, which are amazing... But I did just pick up a pair of HD280s off eBay for $55 .. I don't know, the HD280s kinda sound better. o.O

So far, the year has been pretty lackluster when it comes to video games... Newest game I have is Valkyria Chronicles which I got in December, and even then I am only on the third chapter. Hitoshi Sakimoto did the soundtrack for it which would probably be why I enjoy it so much (also did the Odin Sphere soundtrack). Resident Evil 5 can certainly wait till it is only $20 used. I've also got a few PS2 games I've missed out for the past 80730991 years: Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Mushihime-Sama, Oneechanbara... I also was fortunate enough to find myself a Beatmania controller (minus the game... Only reason I want it is for the Metal Gear Solid remix) but I am fine with IIDX 15th Troopers.

Toradora needs an OVA or another season... They better actually be airing a new season of Haruhi, then again I have given up on that.

We finally have the History Channel on campus, which overjoys me but then I realize how much "History" has gone down hill.


I am now mobile with a car... Volvo s60, which is extremely nice.

Decided it was completely worth the drive back down to Pittsburgh in the middle of finals week for Opeth and Enslaved. I'm glad Enslaved played "Isa"... Opeth's set was amazing, "Deliverence (the perfect song for an encore)," "Ghost of Perdidtion," "The Night and Silent Water," "Burden," "Hessian Peel," "The Leper Affinity," etc awesome....
